I wish that I could say that my "mission" is noble, impressive, or noteworthy, but alas it is not. I have a nemesis in this world, and although I truly believe that God has created everything that lives and breathes on this planet, I cannot let my enemy go on living in my yard.
I cannot stand having to play defense any longer against Kendall running into a huge fire ant pile. After numerous treatments of our yard with store bought ant killer, I am resorting to a home remedy of orange oil, molasses, dish soap, and water to rid our yard of these little boogers. I will let you all know how my mission goes and if it was a success....and I will gladly take any suggestions for getting rid of them!!!

Thankful for the Little Things in Life.....
As Thanksgiving approaches, we all begin to think about what we are thankful for in our lives....so obviously I would say that 99% of us are thankful for our family, friends, jobs....etc.....but I wanted to share the smaller things that I am thankful for.
1. Kendall's Artwork - I love picking Kendall up on Monday through Wednesday and I anxiously await to see what gem of artwork she has made for us. It is always super adorable and I give her teachers so much praise for getting 9 little ones to make these projects for us. Once we are home, we proudly display the artwork on the fridge.
2. Massages - Last year for Christmas, Lance got me a year membership to get one massage per month...I wait in anticipation for the new month so that I can go and be pampered for a whole hour. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
3. Starbucks - I am an addict, what can I say. I LOVE Starbucks iced coffee and I am so thankful that there is a Starbucks on almost every corner...and now there are even drive-throughs!!!
4. Nap Time - I am not sure what I will do the day Kendall stops taking naps...but I love my little cat naps while she sleeps.
As Thanksgiving approaches, I will continue to add to my "Thanks" list!!

Once You Pop, You Can't Stop
Last Night Lance and I were eating dinner and I heard a strange noise coming from the kitchen. I looked in the other room and just about died laughing when this is what I saw.
Kendall went into the pantry, got the Pringless from the shelf and figured out how to get the cover off of the container. It was so funny, we had to grab the camera ...I promise we feed our child!!!

Beep Beep, Vroom Vroom
Last weekend while at Walmart, Lance picked up a little gift for Kendall. She loves the Cozy Coupe and enjoys getting and in and out of the car over and over again. She also loves being pushed around the block in it and also pushing it around the house. She has already managed to chip the paint off of the wall in several locations!
